Solar electric or PV systems function by harnessing the energy from sunlight and converting it into electricity within the solar panel. The heart of these systems lies in the PV cells, which are semiconductor devices responsible for directly converting sunlight into usable electricity. Although direct sunlight yields the highest power output, even on cloudy days, these systems can still generate electricity. The generated electricity is in the form of direct current (DC) and is seamlessly connected to an inverter through DC isolating switches. The inverter plays a vital role by converting the DC electricity into alternating current (AC) with a quality that meets the standards set by the national grid.
On the AC side, the system is linked to the total generation meter through lockable AC isolators. This meter diligently tracks the production of every kilowatt-hour (kWh) of electricity generated by the system.
To ensure the highest standards of quality and performance, all the systems and PV panels installed by us hold MCS accreditation. This accreditation also makes them eligible for receiving payments through the Smart Export Guarantee (SEG) program.
